Today I played with the tripod. I normally use it for hummingbird photos, but today I took a few self portraits. I also painted my very first entry into my watercolor moleskin journal. I am going to try my hardest to do a few small paintings each week in it. I haven't painted watercolor in so long. Speaking of watercolor, don't forget to enter the paint giveaway!
I feel silly posting self portaits.
My husband is really encouraging me lately for me to make stuff, and paint. He has been "daring" me to do a million things. He dared me to fill my watercolor journal up by the end of the month. One night, a while ago, I asked him what his favorite thing about me was, and he said it was that I was artistic. Our first date he took me to the Toledo Art Museum, but it was closed. Hah! Our 6 year anniversary is coming up, and we are going to a taping of Conan :)
The first painting in my journal is of a bee. He calls me "B".

darnit, but i haven't had inspiration or ANY spark at all in the past month for painting, except for a watercolor wedding gift of lyrics the couple loved.
